One of the Philippine premiere esports tournaments returns this 2022. The Nationals returns for its 4th installment, and this time bringing with it a new game title.

The league is the home of the Call of Duty: Mobile Philippine Open and will invite players nationwide to grab their chance at becoming the next champion. Still following its revitalized format from last year, The Nationals season 2022 will start with a series of grassroots tournaments leading on to the Pro League.

Opening opportunities for new challengers and academy esports players

The Call of Duty: Mobile Philippine Open powered by The Nationals will usher in the next generation of CODM pros. Starting with its Challenger and Academy tournament series, grassroots and student gamers will be able to compete for a chance to become part of The Nationals pro teams.

Players from these winning teams will move on to the Draft where they can be selected by the pro teams as part of their rosters for the Pro League. The Pro league teams are not limited to drafting a few players but can also sign in full teams. The opportunity to become the next generation of pros is closer than ever in The Call of Duty: Mobile Philippine Open powered by The Nationals

Ready to become the best of the best

Players in Call of Duty: Mobile Philippine Open powered by The Nationals compete not just to become a champion of the league but to become the best in the country as well. Players will be signed to pro teams, each under prominent brands in the Philippines so they can start their esports careers.

The journey begins now!

The Call of Duty: Mobile Philippine Open powered by The Nationals starts its first Challenger series tournament this coming August 20-21, 2022. “We’re very excited. Finally, nandito na ulit tayo and we get to showcase a lot more of our esports athletes and aspiring esports athletes in the Philippines” Says league president, Jab Escutin, “We have a new game, and so this is a new thing for us and we’re excited to hit the ground running and hopefully the community is ready to showcase their talent also”.

The Nationals league commissioner, Ren Vitug, also adds “we’re really looking forward into bringing the Nationals’ touch into this competition. We think we can give a new avenue and portal for the players and teams to expose themselves to the game itself. We’re really happy for that and it’s going to be exciting this year”.

The Call of Duty: Mobile Philippine Open powered by The Nationals is also done in partnership with esport and video game event organizer, Gariath Concepts. Gariath Concepts has been The Nationals partner since its first season back in 2019.
