With close to 30,000 attendees, the three-day Puregold Tindahan Ni Aling Puring Negosyo Convention 2022 was a huge success after being on a two-year hiatus due to the pandemic.
“We know our customers have missed the convention. We always listen to them. So we’re happy to be back with this annual gathering to provide panalo deals and discounts,” said Puregold President Ferdinand Vincent P. Co.
Aside from the attendees who went to the World Trade Center in Pasay City to take advantage of special offers, the convention, which had the theme “Tuloy Natin Ang Pagsasama, Tuloy Natin Ang Pag-Asenso,” was supported by 108 of Puregold’s trade partners.
In keeping with the theme, Puregold also launched the Aling Puring app during the convention. The app is not just for easy ordering and replenishment of stocks and enjoying special deals and discounts. It also gives Tindahan Ni Aling Puring members e-commerce opportunities such as mobile load, bills payment, and cash-in for mobile wallets.
“Puregold is equipping Tindahan Ni Aling Puring members with an app that will allow them to take advantage of e-negosyo opportunities. Sari-sari store owners can now become the community’s hub for basic essentials, and paying bills or telco load,” said Co.
During the event, Tindahan Ni Aling Puring members got freebies and exclusive discounts. They also attended negosyo seminars conducted by finance and business experts Francis Kong and Chinkee Tan.
Celebrity guests, including Luis Manzano, SB19, The Juans, Arthur Nery, Ogie Alcasid and Regine Velasquez, entertained the customers while they browsed and shopped.
More importantly, the convention got the support of the market it vows to serve—the SMEs composed of sari-sari store and small business owners.
Wilda, a minimart owner and Tindahan Ni Aling Puring member, said the income from her small business is helping put her kids through school.
