Filipinos abroad will once again witness the thrilling games and exciting events from the country’s premier collegiate league as ABS-CBN Global partners with Pilipinas Global Network Limited (PGNL) and Cignal TV Inc. for the streaming of University Athletic Association of the Philippines (UAAP) on iWantTFC in international territories starting May 4 (PH time).
The joint announcement was made on Sunday (May 1) during the launch of the UAAP Volleyball Season 84.
In this deal, iWantTFC will be streaming the entire programming of Cignal’s 24/7 sports channel, The UAAP Varsity Channel, including the games in the on-going UAAP basketball season and the season opener of the women’s volleyball tournament, plus shows including “Step Up” and “School Spirit.”
The road to the Final Four begins as the top schools vie for the UAAP’s coveted basketball title, with the Ateneo Blue Eagles, headlined by Ange Kouame, SJ Belangel, and Dave Ildefonso, looking to defend the crown against the rest of the top collegiate teams.
