At the PUBG Mobile Infinix Cup grand finals, Infinix Marketing Head Joseph Certnitchez dropped big news and teased the event attendees with an announcement of the NOTE 12 Pro 5G in the Philippines.

The smoke has cleared, the battlefield is quiet, and the dust has settled–we have a new champion as UTG International Pro takes the big win in the first-ever PUBG Mobile Infinix Cup!

Held recently at the SM Mall of Asia, Music Hall and broadcasted live via the Infinix Mobile Facebook page, the grand finals of the PUBG Mobile Infinix Cup saw the skilled players of team UTG survive the rigors and outlast 15 competitive teams across three matches to take home the crown and the P500,000 prize pool.

UTG played well and consistently posted top finishes across all three matches in the grand finals, playing well into the late game and finishing third in Matches 1 and 3, and sixth in Match 2 to score a total of 56 points. Coming in second place was Playbook Esports with 41 points, and Bisayang Dako came in third with 37 points.

The PUBG Mobile Infinix Cup grand finals was the culmination of several legs across the Philippines, with stages in Metro Manila, Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao. Scores of teams all competed in these legs for a shot at the half-a-million-peso prize pool.

Infinix introduced its newest ambassador at the NOTE 12 Grand Event: actress, showbiz personality, and avid mobile gamer Andrea Brillantes. Brillantes said the NOTE 12’s smooth and lag-free performance helped her win many games.

Alongside the grand finals, Infinix also held a Grand Event for fans present at Mall of Asia, which featured Infinix ambassador and actress Andrea Brillantes, as well as a four-on-four exhibition match which included online streaming personalities Cherizawa, Rojean, Aningning, Bela Joyce, Sang, Buunja, Virgo, and Vigor.

Intense mobile action powered by the Infinix NOTE 12

The hard-hitting action of the PUBG Mobile Infinix Cup was powered by the stellar performance and smooth gameplay of the Infinix NOTE 12, a dedicated and top-level yet affordable gaming phone.

The NOTE 12 lets gamers play their favorite titles at top performance thanks to its MediaTek Helio G96 Ultra Gaming Processor and octa-core processor, which provides a remarkable boost from the previous generation.

The NOTE 12 also boasts an expanded 13GB by extending and integrating its RAM and ROM, allowing gamers to play any game on it no matter how heavy. Gamers can also enjoy long gaming sessions thanks to its power-packed 5000mAh battery that charges in a snap with 33W Flash Charge.

The NOTE 12 will also impress mobile photography enthusiasts with its powerful 50MP Ultra Night Triple Camera, which can take clearer and crisper night pictures, and its large 6.7” FHD+True Color AMOLED screen with blue light technology, which displays the brightest and most dazzling colors on an eye-friendly 1080×2400-resolution display that also gives the best performance in contrast ratio and color calibration.

What’s even better is that the NOTE 12 comes in a very stylish and slim 7.8 mm package that’s available in three colorways: Force Black, Sapphire Blue, and Snowfall.

To watch the full broadcast of the PUBG Mobile Infinix Cup grand finals, head over to the Infinix Mobile Facebook page at facebook.com/InfinixPhilippines. The NOTE 12 is available in Force Black, Sapphire Blue, and Snowfall in 128GB and 256GB for P8,999 and P9,999, respectively at Infinix stores nationwide, via Shopee and Lazada.
