Through Watsons, Unilever launched Gift for Good in 2021, offering shoppers sustainable beauty products, including the hair and skin product brand Love, Beauty, and Planet.
Every purchase of a product from Gift for Good campaign supported the fight against plastic waste while improving the lives of the collectors.
Watsons also established a partnership with Plastic Bank in 2021, which resulted in 833,000 plastic bottles saved from the ocean, 16,700 kg of ocean-bound plastic collected.

With the rising plastic pollution problem, Plastic Bank works to keep plastic out of oceans while building ethical recycling ecosystems for coastal communities. It benefits communities as this initiative invites people to join the plastic collection program in exchange for basic family necessities such as food, clean drinking water, and financial help.
Plastic Bank has given livelihood to over 1,500 people in the Philippines while creating a positive impact on the environment.
