Xiaomi, one of the global technology leaders, together with World Vision Philippines, welcomed over 400 students from a school in Barangay Baseco, Manila with back-to-school kits as they return to face-to-face classes this month.
The kits contained school supplies such as crayons, pencils, and writing pads, among others as well as the latest Xiaomi products and gadgets including Xiaomi backpacks, pens, LCD writing tablets, and the recently launched RedmiBook 15 perfectly fitted for any school-related tasks.
The kit is intended to provide students with all the tools they might need to excel while, at the same time, allowing them to unleash their creativity and talents.
“The last two years have indeed been trying times for these students,” explained Tomi Adrias, Xiaomi Philippines’ Head of Marketing. “It has always been the mission of Xiaomi to be a brand that supports young people’s aspirations by equipping them with the latest technology available. ”
The donation marks the second year Xiaomi Philippines has worked with World Vision and is part of the brand’s continued advocacy to champion the further development of education in the country through technology that will help enhance and harness Filipino students’ digital prowess.
