Electro-pop singer-songwriter Zion Aguirre freely expresses his authentic genderless self in his new self-penned single “in another life,” which signals a meaningful and bolder chapter in his journey.
“This is a song about people whose chances of seeing each other and chances for communication are both seemingly impossible, hence they’d just meet ‘in another life,’” Zion said on the emotional ballad track that tackles love and loss.
Through the Tarsier Records release, which he further described as “intimate, genuine, and true,” Zion hopes to express his sincere feelings as he steps into a fiercer chapter in his life that is not bound by emotion and thoughts that weigh him down.
Zion also released the music video for “in another life” last Saturday (September 3), which also coincided with his birthday. The aesthetically pleasing video shows Zion draped in what looks like ancient Greek god clothing while sitting on a chair with a lamp beside him.
This coming Saturday (September 10), the social media personality also has a special surprise for his followers on TikTok where exclusive content and revelations are to be expected.
Before “in another life,” Zion released the song “Nag-iisa,” which went on to be part of the official soundtrack (OST) for the second season of the hit youth series “He’s Into Her.” His other music releases under Tarsier include “Ikaw At Ako (Hanggang Dulo),” “Fallin’,” and “Promise.”
