Mercure Cat Tien and ibis Styles Cat Tien

Accor, a leading augmented hospitality Group, is pleased to share its recent signings for November 2023, underscoring its unwavering dedication to extending its reach while delivering unparalleled experiences throughout Asia.

As of October 2023, Accor has seamlessly executed management agreements for an impressive 69 properties, augmenting its extensive portfolio with over 16,500 keys. Amidst this remarkable surge, the Group strategically continues to direct its efforts toward resolute leadership in the Premium, Midscale and Economy segments, epitomised by its steadfast representation through the Novotel, Mercure, and ibis brands. This strategic approach underscores Accor’s commitment to ensure a diverse range of offerings for its guests.

Our strategic signings and brand introductions to new markets are a testament to our pledge to be pioneers in delivering unparalleled guest experiences, marking a new era in the evolution of hospitality,” said Garth Simmons, Chief Executive Officer, Premium, Midscale and Economy Division for Accor in Asia.

New signings include:

ibis Styles Phuket Bangtao (Thailand)

Accor continues its growth in Thailand with the recent signing of ibis Styles Phuket Bangtao. This newly built hotel, set to open its doors in 2025, will feature 140 keys, a restaurant, a bar, a swimming pool, and a well-equipped gym. Situated in the vibrant neighbourhood of Bangtao, known for its pristine beach and modern living, ibis Styles is poised to infuse the locale with a fusion of artistic ingenuity and contemporary chic. With this signing, Accor further strengthens its position as the largest international hotel operator in Thailand, boasting a robust network of 73 hotels in the Midscale and Economy segments and a pipeline of 14 projects currently in development.

Novotel Jakarta Pulo Mas (Indonesia)

Accor is pleased to announcethe signing of Novotel Jakarta Pulo Mas, located in Pulo Mas, East Jakarta. This 36-floor hotel, part of a mixed-use development with an office building and the Nusantara TV studios, will offer 175 rooms, including standard rooms and suites. Featuring an all-day dining restaurant, lounge, health and fitness centre, spa, pool bar, and an outdoor swimming pool, Novotel Jakarta Pulo Mas promises a serene ambience with a spectacular bird’s-eye view of Jakarta.

Mercure Cat Tien and ibis Styles Cat Tien (Vietnam)

Accor will oversee the management and operation of two hotels within the Imperial Oasis Quy Nhon project in Binh Dinh province, featuring the renowned Mercure and ibis Styles brands. Scheduled to open in 2027, the Mercure Cat Tien and ibis Styles Cat Tien hotels, situated in the Cat Tien gateway urban area, will offer 189 and 250 guestrooms, respectively. Both hotels will feature state-of-the-art facilities including an all-day dining restaurant, meeting rooms, swimming pool, pool club, and a gym. These projects align with Accor’s strategic emphasis on coastal economic development and high-end commercial sectors in Vietnam.

Swissôtel Bangkok Pratunam (Thailand)

Accor will unveil the Swissôtel Pratunam Bangkok in early 2027. Nestled in the vibrant heart of Bangkok’s premier shopping district, this premium hotel with 325 beautifully decorated rooms and suites is set to redefine urban sophistication. Guests can indulge in panoramic skyline views from the rooftop infinity pool, relax in the world-class spa, and enjoy exquisite dining options.

Grand Mercure Goa Candolim (India)

Grand Mercure Goa Candolim is scheduled to welcome guests in Q2 of 2024 and will become the 7th Grand Mercure in India. This expansive 6,500 sqm hotel offers 87 well-appointed rooms, two dining options, a 500+ sqm banquet hall, with fitness and spa facilities. With its upscale amenities, the hotel aims to make a significant impact on Goa’s dynamic hospitality scene, providing a notable stay for travellers.

Through six signings with over 1,100 additional keys across Asia in November 2023, Accor continues to demonstrate its prowess in the hospitality industry, delivering exceptional and innovative experiences to guests in the region.
