Agust D, also known as SUGA of BTS, officially released his first single “People Pt.2 (feat. IU)” off his upcoming solo album, D-DAY released April 21st. This single expresses the common emotions found within relationships — love, separation, fear, sadness — that seem futile but are always prevalent. The song features a boom-bap rhythm with Agust D’s composed rapping and IU’s iconic voice creating a beautiful balance. Agust D’s upcoming solo album arrives about three years after his second mixtape D-2 released in May 2020.
NBA AMBASSADOR
The NBA announced Agust D as the NBA ambassador for the rest of the 2022/23 season.
“As an NBA Ambassador, SUGA will engage NBA fans around the world through the remainder of the 2022-23 NBA season and beyond. SUGA, an avid NBA fan, will participate in several league initiatives that will be featured on the NBA’s and his personal social media channels, including attending NBA games and events in the U.S. and Asia, and participating in the league’s promotional activities. Additionally, the NBA will have a presence throughout SUGA’s first solo world tour, collaborating around select concerts in celebration of the release of SUGA’s debut solo album, D-DAY. SUGA has featured basketball in several of BTS’ projects, most notably in the music video for the group’s global hit “Dynamite,” which in 2020 earned the group their first appearance at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart.”
D-DAY TOUR
Agust D will also be embarking on a worldwide arena tour beginning in New York on April 26th.
The ‘D-DAY Tour’ will include shows in the U.S., Indonesia, Thailand, Singapore, South Korea and Japan.

DISNEY+ DOCUMENTARY
Disney+ has announced an upcoming documentary focused on Agust D titled ‘SUGA: Road to D-DAY’.
The documentary will be released globally on Weverse and Disney+ on April 21st.
