Winning the race for faster and stronger car loan offerings, the Bank of the Philippine Islands (BPI) is partnering once again with the Manila International Auto Show (MIAS) as its exclusive auto financing provider, with the aim to cement its position as a top-of-mind financing provider for potential car buyers in the market.
After a successful comeback in 2022, MIAS returns on April 13 to 16, 2023 at the World Trade Center in Pasay City.
As the event’s official presenter and the exclusive auto loan provider on site, BPI will be present at the event to provide its services to MIAS’ consumer base.
“Given the anticipated increase in foot traffic, introduction of new car brands, and unveiling of new car variants, BPI Auto Loan aims to help dealers generate increase in turn-ins by offering exclusive promos. This enables starting families as well as car enthusiasts to avail affordable deals for the cars they are eyeing,” said Dennis Fronda, BPI Retail Loans Group Head.
As one of the best performing banks in the auto loan industry, BPI is optimistic that it will be able to help meet pent-up demand for vehicles.
“With the continuous recovery of the economy, BPI Auto Loan will again take hold of the opportunity to participate in this year’s MIAS run as the official presenter and exclusive auto loan provider,” Fronda added.
As of December 31, 2022, BPI’s total loans stood at P1.7 trillion, up 15.3% from the previous year, led by growth in the credit card, corporate/SME and auto portfolios of 31.1%, 15.5%, and 14.0%, respectively.
To date, a total of 1.27M Filipinos have registered private cars.

BPI will also extend its Hot Summer Promo bundled with Exclusive Partner Offers to all clients who will be applying during the event.

BPI Auto Loan’s on-site offerings during the four-day event will be accessible to both BPI and new-to-bank clients visiting the show. “Those who will not be able to be on site can still avail of the BPI Auto Loan offers, which is available nationwide,” said Fronda.
For provincial clients, they can take advantage of the offers when they apply online or through any of the BPI Branches nationwide. Fronda clarified that applications outside the MIAS event will be allowed as long as the application is from April 13 to 16, and the car brand is one of the participating brands.
In MIAS’ face-to-face show in 2022, foot traffic reached more than 120,000. Since its first launch in April 2005, the auto show has been hailed as one of the most awaited motoring and driving events in the country, providing a venue for automotive showcases and increased presence for prominent car brands. It has consistently enticed car enthusiasts and other industry professionals to participate in the event.
