The release of Busted’s ‘Greatest Hits 2.0’ is now just a week away, It is a collection that combines thrilling new collaborations and dynamic reworks of their collection of killer hits. Now Busted proves that they’re just as good as ever as they unleash the album’s all-new single ‘Good One’.

‘Good One’ isn’t a song that Busted would’ve written the first time around. Opening with Charlie Simpson’s unique voice on a synth-pop soundbed, its melancholy lyrics accept that the relationships, friendships, and connections we have at this moment in time won’t last forever. But then with the help of vocal harmonies from James Bourne and Matt Willis, the trio bound into the kind of instantly addictive bouncy pop-rock hook that they’re renowned for – complete with the message that if so many things in our lives are fleeting, let’s make the most of them while we can. And that proves that twenty years on, a more mature Busted certainly hasn’t lost its frenetic fun factor.

Busted’s Charlie says, “Good one is all about the nostalgia of friends not seeing each other for a long time and making the most of the moments you get with each other so it seemed particularly appropriate for us to release around our greatest hits tour when we are seeing so many faces that we haven’t seen for such a long time”.

‘Good One’ was written by Busted and was produced by Phil Gornell (All Time Low, 5 Seconds of Summer, You Me At Six).

It features Busted’s recent collaborations with Jonas Brothers, All Time Low, Hanson, Neck Deep, and Simple Plan, and includes a dazzling array of special guests from pop-punk and beyond. James Arthur! You Me At Six! Dashboard Confessional! The Vamps! Deaf Havana! Charlotte Sands! McFly! Bowling For Soup! Wheatus!

Busted’s huge ‘Greatest Hits 2.0’ UK and Ireland arena tour is now underway and will see them play to a total of 260,000 fans – and all shows are either sold-out or have very limited tickets available. The tour heats up in Birmingham tomorrow when ‘MMMBop’ legends Hanson join the line-up, which is completed by New Hope Club and The Tyne. The remaining shows are:
