Coca-Cola Beverages Philippines Inc. (CCBPI) proudly marched alongside the LGBTQIA+ community and its allies during this year’s record-breaking Pride Festival at the Quezon Memorial Circle organized by Pride PH and the Quezon City Government. Standing together with members LGBTQIA+ community across the country, CCBPI associates also took part in Pride festivities in Cebu, Davao, and Ilocos.

CCBPI continues to champion a People-First culture and actively works to foster representation, diversity, and inclusivity in the workplace. Its dedicated Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DE&I) team along with its senior leadership team and associates work together to cultivate a safe space where employees can flourish and grow as their authentic selves. CCBPI has made institutional efforts to be more inclusive by transforming its human resource policies and culture, including expanding its HMO coverage to include same-sex and common-law partners. It has built a Pride Council comprised of associates that guide the planning of policies and programs for LGBTQ+ individuals, and a Pride Network that provides support to its members in their personal growth and lived experiences beyond the workplace.

Providing refreshing beverages and helping keep the celebration litter-free, Coca-Cola held a sampling activity for its new and staple products and a collective effort for post-consumer clear PET plastic bottles of any brand under its Tapon to Ipon: Basta Klaro, Panalo! program. Through Tapon to Ipon, its nationwide collection effort for post-consumer clear PET plastic bottles, all collected bottles are diverted to PETValue Philippines—its pioneering bottle-to-bottle recycling facility—to be given new lives.
