Five months after it opened its first-ever agency house in Makati, EastWest Ageas Insurance opened the doors to its second house in the Ortigas Business District. Located on the 25th floor of One Corporate Center, the Ortigas agency house aims to reach Filipinos in the Eastern part of the Metro all the way to Quezon City.

EastWest Ageas chose Valentine’s Day to emphasize that “people buy insurance because they love someone,” as Chief Distribution Officer Jim DeLong put it. He said that this also signifies the company’s growth in terms of job opportunities, from the team at the head office to its customer-facing sales agents.
President and CEO Sjoerd Smeets expanded on the company’s passion, saying, “By opening our second agency house, we can help more Filipinos plan for a better future.” He stated that EastWest Ageas is the company on which “Filipinos can rely to provide them with the certainty of the future and to help them in navigating difficult times.”
“Our mission is to serve Filipinos,” Sjoerd concluded. “And to provide them with the security and hope that we, as EastWest Ageas, will provide.”
