Local sportsbook and e-games platform OKBet recently held an outreach program in Barangay Quirecada in Tondo, Manila, distributing 300 gift baskets to two Tricycle Operators and Drivers’ Associations, or TODAs, that operate in the barangay, namely Yaquitoda and Hertoda.
Recipients in barangay also received 300 loot bags for their children, containing toys donated by OKBet employees, as part of the company’s “Every Toy Has A Spirit Of Joy” drive.
City Councilor Darwin Sia graced the outreach event, together with Manila Traffic and Parking Bureau chief Dennis Viaje. Sia represented Manila City Mayor Honey Lacuna, “Maraming salamat po sa OKBet, sa biyaya na inabot ninyo dito sa amin sa Tondo,” [We’d like to thank OKBet management for your generous blessing to some of our residents here at Tondo], said Sia.

Pebbles Muñiz, the corporate social responsibility program manager of OKBet, was in attendance and expressed her gratitude to the city government for its support in making the event a success. Muñiz highlighted the importance of collaboration between private organizations and local governments for positive social change.
