Knowledge Channel’s “School Anywhere” continues to make waves this year with its exciting lineup of new shows and fresh episodes on early childhood care and education, beginning reading and math, science, environment, agriculture, and Araling Panlipunan available on-air, online, and offline.
New and expecting parents can learn about the first 1000 days of a child in “I Love You 1000,” starring Marlo Mortel and Majoy Apostol, in partnership with the National Nutrition Council. Cultivating kids’ interest in learning agriculture for grades 3 to 4, with new episodes of “AgriKids,” a series done with the Agricultural Training Institute of the Department of Agriculture.
Students, teachers, and parents are in for a treat with engaging jam-packed shows starting with new episodes of “Ready, Set, Read,” a series for learning oracy and beginning reading for grade 1 students, hosted by Seth Dungca. Kapamilya host and Math enthusiast Robi Domingo continues to bring new episodes of “MathDali” for grade school students to bring the fun in learning numbers and solving math problems.
The new “Wikaharian” series, co-developed with the National Commission for Culture and the Arts and the Office of Senator Loren Legarda, hosted by Teacher Michelle Agas will push students to enhance their reading skills in Filipino.
Discover the beauty and history of the provinces of the Philippines with fresh episodes of “WOW,” hosted by Knowledge Channel’s director of operations, Edric Calma. Actors Maymay Entrata and Elijah Canlas will take us through intermediate science concepts on the environment and environmental protection in the new episodes of “Puno ng Buhay.” Both shows are made in partnership with Forest Foundation Philippines.
Expect new weekly episodes from Knowledge Channel’s digital shows “Art Smart” hosted by Teacher Precious, and “Knowledge On The Go” hosted by Coach Lyqa Maravilla.
Launching this year are three newly acquired shows, starting with the tagalized version of “Heroes of Zero,” a show that talks about the issues of bullying and its effect on students created by the Power of Zero. The “We Learn As One: My TV School” of the ABC+ Project: Advancing Basic Education in the Philippines of Research Triangle Institute International and United States Agency for International Development and “Kwentong Kalikasan,” a video project for environmental protection and conservation in partnership with the Association of Young Environmental Journalists.
