Gastronomic treats to Discover this Summer at City of Dreams Manila

It is officially summer, and City of Dreams Manila is ushering in the season with dining offers that shine with enticing flavors. To start a one-of-a-kind summer, the integrated resort’s restaurants Haliya, Nobu Manila, Red Ginger, and Rossi Pizza highlight delightful promotions exclusively available until end of March.

Nobu Manila

The Shichimi-crusted Wagyu Beef with anticucho miso, asparagus, mushrooms, and balsamic “caviar” is one of the indulgent highlights of Nobu Manila’s tasting menu.

A seven-course seasonal dinner menu available for P8, 871 net per person beckons at the trendy restaurant., whether dining indoors or al fresco enjoying the summer’s night breeze amid a lush garden and calming water feature.

Nobu Manila’s tasting menu consists of zensai (appetizer); Yellowtail Tataki with parmesan cheese, caviar, and yuzu-infused coconut milk; Seasonal Selection of Sushi, and Clear Soup with Inaniwa Noodles; and Scallops with goma amazu garlic dressing and crispy phyllo. It continues with Cubed Tuna Salad with mango dressing, cherry tomato, cucumber, okra, soy salt, and kizami yuba; Pan-roasted Norwegian Salmon with kabocha (squash) gnocchi, caperberry tuile, and umami foam; Shichimi-crusted Wagyu Beef with anticucho miso, asparagus, mushrooms, and balsamic “caviar”; and Milk Chocolate Mousse with cranberry gelée, almond dacquoise, and Valrhona dark chocolate homemade ice cream.

A night of DJ music and 50% off a special menu of new-style Japanese cuisine and drinks at the restaurant’s stylish cabanas, patio, and lounge await at Nobu Manila’s Friday Chill Out promotion.

Currently drawing crowds is Nobu Manila’s Friday Chill-Out promotion, which highlights catchy DJ tracks, and an irresistible 50% off a special menu consisting of selected new-style Japanese cuisine and sophisticated drinks and spirits. The hottest Friday night outdoor sundown session happens from 6 pm to 10 pm at the restaurant’s fashionable cabanas, patio, and bar, and is available only until the end of March

Haliya

The Pusit Sisig is Haliya’s unique and delectable interpretation of the well-loved Kapampangan dish.

The much-loved sisig takes centerstage at the restaurant this month, putting spotlight and elevating its flavors in three sizzling takes.

Haliya’s Pampanga Sisig (P650++) is composed of homemade pork chicharon, chicken liver sauce, white onion, fried egg and local labuyo chili; Pusit Sisig (P1,250++), is a medley of squid, scrambled egg white, spam, red and green chilis, squid ink sisig jus, and micro greens; and Surf and Turf Sisig (P2,600++), is a combination of quick-seared Black Tyde Ribeye , annatto sugpo (tiger prawn), poached egg, aligue (crab fat) chips, kalamansi aioli, and pickled red onion.

Haliya is open Mondays to Fridays from 5 pm to 11 pm and from 11 am every Saturday to Sunday.

Red Ginger

Hor Hee and other Ipoh Malaysia’s favorites are a must-try at Red Ginger.

City of Dreams Manila’s Southeast Asian bistro is taking diners to a culinary travel to Malaysia as it highlights the flavors of Ipoh, the capital city of the state of Perak known for its rich cuisine. Cravings for this fare will be satisfied with Red Ginger’s dishes of the month, which include: Hor Hee, a noodle soup combining glass noodles, fish ball, fish tofu, Tianjin cabbage, and chili soya; Dry Curry Mee, a medley of vermicelli, yellow noodles, dry chicken curry and fried wonton; Pork Belly with Salted Fish, a dish of consisting of Shaoxing wine-marinated pork belly with salted fish, okra, chili, spring onion and served with steamed jasmine rice; Wat Tan Hor or wok-tossed rice noodles, chicken thigh, squid, thick egg gravy, and pickled green chili; and Ipoh Caramel Egg Pudding for dessert.

Red Ginger is open daily from 11 am to 1 am.

Rossi Pizza

Enjoy a satisfying combination of the quintessential Margherita Pizza paired with Tagliatelle alla Moda di Cartoceto.

For those hankering for Italian comfort food, choices of Roman-style pizza, known for its scrocchiarella or light, crispy crust highlight Rossi Pizza’s “Perfect Match” promotion. The package offers a delicious set of an 8” solo pizza, Tagliatelle alla Moda di Cartoceto (a mélange of medium ribbon pasta, Bolognese sauce, and basil pesto), and a glass of soda for only P900++. Diners are spoilt for choice from 10 signature Rossi favorites. These include Margherita, Diavola, Capricciosa, Vegana, Vinicio, Golosa, Prosciutto, Funghi, Quattro Formaggi, and Tonno e Cipolla.

Rossi is open from 11 am to 11 pm.
