Living up to its commitment to giving back to the community, J&T Express has tied up with schools and local government units nationwide to extend its helping hands to students in preparation for the reopening of classes this 2023.
As part of amping up its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) efforts, the country’s leading and fastest-growing delivery service provider has continued its support for quality education by participating in this year’s Brigada Eskwela campaign by the Department of Education (DepEd) with the slogan of “Bayanihan Para sa Paaralan.”
“We at J&T Express are committed not just to delivering packages efficiently nationwide, but also to making a positive impact in our communities from Luzon to Mindanao. We believe that every child deserves access to a safe and nurturing learning environment. Through this, we aim to contribute to the development of our future leaders and promote the importance of education,” says Zoe Chi, Vice President of J&T Express Philippines.
In the month of August alone, J&T Express has helped kick off Brigada Eskwela 2023 in key cities of Metro Manila, Nueva Ecija, Laguna, Batangas, Iloilo, and Cagayan de Oro where its employees have also actively participated.
“As part of our continued efforts in celebrating J&T Express’ 4th year anniversary in the Philippines, we are proud to be advocates of the Bayanihan spirit. As long as we are here to serve you, we will remain dedicated to giving back and creating a lasting change for our fellow Filipinos,” concludes Chi.
Brigada Eskwela exemplifies the spirit of community collaboration. In coordination with school administrators, local government units, and the DepEd itself, J&T Express and its service personnel engaged in various activities from cleaning and repainting school facilities to the donation of learning materials to students who are gearing up to return to school. This initiative not only enhances the physical appearance of schools but also fosters a sense of unity and shared responsibility to create a conducive learning environment for students.
