There is just so much to save when you use your Stored Value Card (SVC) or beep™ card at LRT-1. Aside from enjoying discounted fares versus the use of a Single Journey Ticket (SJT), you will have a chance to win unlimited rides as LRT-1 private operator Light Rail Manila Corporation (LRMC) launches Let’s Reload To w1n, a special promo for LRT-1 passengers.
As part of LRMC’s initiatives to promote more convenient travel, LRT-1 passengers are encouraged to reload their SVC or beep™ card at any e-tap loading kiosks located at all 20 LRT-1 stations. To qualify for the promo, a minimum reload or top-up amount of Php200 is required. Interested LRT-1 passengers must register and upload the transaction receipt at https://bit.ly/lrtw1n and input the details needed such as name, contact number, terminal number of the LRT-1 e-tap kiosk, address, date of transaction, and photo of official receipt.
The riding public can register multiple entries provided that they are registering unique e-tap loading kiosk transactions from June 1 to 30, 2023. 1 qualified transaction receipt is equal to 1 raffle entry. Lucky winners will be determined through an electronic raffle draw that will be held on 14 July 2023 at the LRT-1 Central Station Mezzanine Area in the presence of a DTI representative. Winners will be announced shortly after the electronic raffle draw through the LRMC Facebook page.
There will be 10 winners of minor prizes who will each take home Php1,000 worth of beep credits, while 3 major winners will get to enjoy unlimited rides on LRT-1: 1 month for the 3rd place; 3 months (2nd place); and the grand winner will enjoy the unlimited rides on LRT-1 for 6 months! Plus, all winners will receive limited edition LRT-1 merchandise.
“We invite our LRT-1 passengers to participate in this special promo for them. This is part of our drive to promote the benefits of convenience and savings when using beep™ and reloading these cards through our e-tap loading kiosks found in all LRT-1 stations. beep™ cards are one of the widely used payment methods today making these cards very useful,” LRMC Head of Corporate Communications and Customer Relations Jacqueline S. Gorospe said.
