Marc Nelson goes on a farming adventure to decode sustainable agriculture buzzwords in the newest episode of “Sustainable Living,” premiering on Metro Channel this Saturday (July 29) at 9:30 pm.
The TV host-fitness advocate immerses himself in sustainable farming at the King Tower Farm in Laguna, the very first vertical aeroponics tower farm in Asia.
His good friend Angie Mead King, a budding farmer and owner of King Tower Farm, will join him and lead the tour in the thriving farmland. Together they will make the rounds and do some harvesting and other activities that will delight budding farmers.
Viewers will enjoy Marc and Angie’s enlightening conversation about today’s popular farming methods, including vertical farming, soil farming, Hugelkultur system, and bee farming. Plantitos and plantitas will also take delight in the spectacle of crops, from leafy greens such as lettuce and arugula; fruits like calamansi, pineapple, and macopa; to fruiting vegetables such as okra, eggplant, and tomatoes.
The tour won’t be complete without a peek at the cows, horses, bees, and other animals at the farm.
