The award-winning campaign, Marriott Moments, returns bigger and brighter this year, with the theme “Paving the way to more winning moments.” With the two events combined, the second season of “Marriott Moments A- Fair” and “9th edition of “Marry Me at Marriott”, the event kicked off winning moments that will last a lifetime while showcasing a collection of art pieces mirroring life’s heartfelt instants.
Last 2022, “Marry Me at Marriott” became a part of a market-wide award-winning campaign dubbed, “Marriott Moments,” aimed at providing a deeper meaning to the initiative, acknowledging the significant role that the brand Marriott, and its expanding presence through the growing number of hotel brands in the Philippines, plays in driving the hotel, and wedding & events industries to an auspicious place, such as, showcasing the most reputable celebrated fashion designers like Ezra Santos, Rhett Eala, Albert Andrada, Val Taguba, Jaggy Glarino, and up-and-coming ones like Jezelle Amorado, while also providing the platform for weddings and events suppliers to brandish their creativity and capabilities.
Unparalleled rewards with Marriott Bonvoy
This year’s Marriott Moments was presented by the largest global travel and lifestyle program, the Marriott Bonvoy, as the brand aims to offer more and connect our members to more of what they love. With a total of seven Marriott properties currently operating, two more to open before the year ends, and more in the plan for the Philippines, it aims to give endless memorable experiences with our 31 hotel brands and over 8,500+ locations worldwide for more winning moments.
The Marriott Moments Campaign
Highlighting three major components, Online, On Ground, and On Stage, the campaign is able to create an integrated plan in bringing more winning moments that branch out to timeless memories. The campaign also expanded in imparting knowledge to different disciplines with a capacity building seminar held in COLLAB, Sheraton Manila Hotel last February, and the Marriott Moments Culinary Arts Conference earlier this June featuring 20 chefs from 9 Marriott properties in the Philippines, the biggest gathering of culinary arts experts in the history of Marriott’s existence in the country.
Online, through the hotel’s official YouTube channel, sub-branded as My Favorite Travel Channel (MyFTC), the #MYMarriottMoments series continues from last year to showcase experiences of real people sharing their memorable events held at Marriott Hotel Manila to further increase the campaign’s online presence.
On Ground, “Marriott Moments A-Fair” features top wedding and event suppliers that showcase their prowess through their specialty booths curated by COTE Events. From Tiger Weddings and Events by Tiger Lim, EventStyles by Kathy Sy-King, Kyno Kho Flowers and Events, Stan Creative Designs, Miel’s Flowershoppe and Event Styling, 2171 Floral Creations, and Concept+Design by Pio Herras, with their booths ranging from birthdays to anniversaries.
On Stage, the 9th edition of “Marry Me At Marriott” features six (6) celebrated designers. The homecoming of celebrated designer Ezra Santos, a Filipino designer based in the United Arab Emirates and one of the leading fashion figures in the Middle East and his reunion with Val Taguba as close friends; Rhett Eala and Jaggy Glarino, which highlighted the contrast co-existence of classic and contemporary experiences; and Albert Andrada and Jezelle Amorado, which showcased the harmony of a proud mentor and a grateful protégé in fruition.
A gastronomic winning moment
The Executive Chef of Marriott Hotel Manila’s culinary arts team, Chef Meik “The Big Chef” Brammer shares “Regardless of which Marriott property you spend your vacation in or hold your catering and celebrations with. You are guaranteed to become the winner you deserve to be.” With the same value for excellence and passion towards memorable dishes fit for all occasions, all Marriott hotels strive to give you that winning moment.
More room for dessert! In line with the theme and ethereal venue, the culinary team amplified their winning moment with their dessert garden of Strawberry Fields, Chocolate Davao, London Fog, “Burnt” Basque Cheesecake, and Churros de Davao.
As grand as the event itself, nine towering cakes were on display, all prepared by the culinary team of Manila Marriott Hotel. Eight themed cakes with one grand cake as the Grand Marriott Moments Cake containing prizes for the first 300 guests, with prizes ranging from exclusive Food and Beverage and Room vouchers from the nine Marriott properties to special gift items from our partners’ Perfume Dessert, Jergens, Caronia, and Liese.
The hotel doesn’t simply create food for your event, but rather, the team creates food for the soul, one that would imprint significant and blissful memories for your special day.
