Indie pop-alternative band Nameless Kids navigates through the confusing world of an undefined relationship in the group’s new single “Lonely.”
“This isn’t just about being alone, it’s a song for everyone who was led on by their own assumptions only to be left clueless and in pain,” the band said.
The emotional mid-tempo track, which was produced by the band and composed by lead vocalist Nhiko Sabiniano, also serves as a peek into their upcoming album to be released under Tarsier Records.
Nameless Kids is a five-piece band formed in 2019 consisting of Nhiko, Kyle Perry, Tati De Mesa, Kim Allen, and Imay Alconaba. Within their debut year, they were hailed as Best Performance of a New Group Recording Artist at the 34th Awit Awards. They were also featured in Nylon’s Big, Bold, Brave Awards and MYX Music Awards which was headlined by LANY.
Last year, the band dominated the Araneta Coliseum following the feature of their tracks “Midsummer High” in the hit series “He’s Into Her,” “Life’s a Beach” in the iWantTFC series “Beach Boys,” and their latest single “Sa’yo (Ang Mundo)” in the queer reality dating show “Sparks Camp.”
