The largest global network of tourism professionals, SKAL International Makati, inaugurates Philippine Airlines (PAL) President and COO Capt. Stanley K. Ng is their new member of the board. The pronouncement was made during a general membership meeting and fellowship of the board at the PAL Inflight Center in Pasay City.
The event was graced by SKAL International board members, PAL executives, and other prominent personalities in the travel and tourism industry.
The induction was led by SKAL International Makati President Shoucair together with SKAL International board members on behalf of the Department of Transportation secretary and SKAL International Makati chairman Jaime Bautista.
Capt. Ng expressed his gratitude for the privilege to be selected as the organization’s new board member and pledged to continue and foster the growth of the tourism and travel industry in the country. “I strongly believe that by working together, we can make a significant impact in the hospitality industry and beyond. Through our collective efforts, we can promote sustainable tourism practices, support local communities, and create meaningful connections between people from different cultures and backgrounds” he added.
PAL VP for Sales, Bud Britanico also recognized the airline’s 82nd anniversary through a presentation of updates regarding PAL’s new look and new visual experiences through their expansion in operations. Developments on their platform, membership, and the relocation of all international flights to NAIA terminal 1 were emphasized as the new experiences and discoveries while flying with PAL.
PAL provided the first-class passenger-like experience by hosting the dinner accompanied by a string quartet, alongside their Filipino cuisine correspondent to their 82nd anniversary menu curated and developed by PAL’s head chef, Valerie Castillo-Archer.
The SKAL International Makati members meeting and fellowship is a milestone that embarks on a new journey for SKAL and PAL as they partake in achieving the values and mission of championing global tourism for years to come.
