Paolo Sandejas is giving a taste of another melancholic love song called “Aftertaste” which features fellow singer-songwriter Tala.
In discussing his excitement about the release of this acoustic blues single, he says that it’s a “song about how the memories we have with the people we once loved last even after they leave our lives.”
Paolo also reveals that this song is a somber trip down memory lane to a time when two people crossed paths before eventually growing apart and moving on to better things.
“Aftertaste” explores the melancholy of the aftermath of a breakup. And for him, regardless of how things might have ended, you still remember bits and pieces of them as they inevitably made you the person you are today. He’s been performing this song on various gigs and it’s been gaining positive feedback from his followers. The song is the last track of his Bloom EP which dropped this April 2023.
