For both online business owners and shoppers alike, live selling has become a crucial part of creating a more engaging online shopping experience. With the rise of live selling over the last few years, Shopee recently recognized 100 of its most talented live sellers who worked tirelessly to unlock growth for their businesses during the Shopee Live Seller Awards.
During the awards ceremony, Shopee representatives shared the upcoming Shopee Live plans for 2023. Awardees were recognized for their efforts in driving orders, live streaming consistently, performing during campaigns, and more. Categories for this year’s Shopee Live Seller Awards included Shopee Live Superstar, Rising Star Award, Shopee Live Spotlight Awardee, Campaign Streamer Awardee, Everyday Streamer Awardee, and the Top 100 sellers.
Live Seller Awardees Ian, Cecille, and Jeff share how they were able to grow their businesses and find success with Shopee Live.
Developing a passion for Live Selling
Ian was given the Everyday Streamer Awardee, for incorporating live selling into his daily routine. In 2022, Ian live streamed nearly every day on his online store, vheryniceshop, where he sells jackets, sweaters, and other outerwear. His passion and dedication for live selling enabled him to gain nearly 500,000 unique viewers in the last year.
“I’m incredibly grateful that my daily efforts to livestream have been recognized at the Shopee Live Seller Awards. I hope that my journey on Shopee can inspire other aspiring sellers to venture into live selling as well,” Ian shared.
Rising as the Top Live Seller
With her drive and determination, Cecille, owner of Cilebritee shop, bagged the title of Top 1 Shopee Live Seller, in addition to receiving the Shopee Live Superstar Award, the Campaign Award, and the Spotlight Award. She attributes her success as a live seller to her consistency. Thanks to her discipline in live selling, Cecille went from averaging just over 30 orders per day to over 300 in the span of three years.
Cecille shared, “It is a great honor to be the Top 1 Seller at the Shopee Live Seller Awards. With support from my customers and Shopee, I am confident that there will be even more we can achieve at Cilebritee_shop in the coming year.”
Growing one’s customer base
Jeff was a recipient of the Shopee Live Superstar Award and the Shopee Live Spotlight Award at the recent ceremony. As the owner of Shopupp2, he’s been steadily growing his customer base with boostings and vouchers on his livestreams. Jeff’s efforts to reach more customers has been paying off, as he now averages around 170 orders in a day.
“Thank you, Shopee, for recognizing the efforts of sellers like myself. Seeing how much we’ve been able to accomplish in three years inspires me to do even better this 2023,” Jeff shared.
