The Rail Concept Store, one of the front-runners of the country’s streetwear and skate fashion scene, celebrated the grand opening of its 14th store in the country on April 21, 2023. Located on the 3rd Floor of The Block in SM North EDSA, The Rail offers a diverse selection of skateboard decks, streetwear, and skate apparel inspired by hip-hop music and culture. The brand houses international brands like Avirex, Defend, Santa Cruz, Illest, Primitive, and Maui and Sons–to name a few.
The event was attended by street fashion and lifestyle personalities who were treated to welcome snacks and drinks upon arrival. The Rail’s Executive, Neil Solomon, and Marketing Manager, Laika Del Rosario, led the ribbon-cutting ceremony to mark the official opening of the store.
In his message, Neil shared the story behind the ten years of The Rail, their passion for the skate lifestyle, and their vision for the store moving forward to this era of street fashion and culture and their 10th year in business. He expressed his gratitude for the support of those who attended the event and their brand enthusiasts. He also highlighted the launch of WIP Caps at The Rail, which features exclusive designs from a popular local brand that embodies the unique style and culture that The Rail represents.

Guests were also treated to a speech by one of the co-founders of WIP Caps, Mari Torres, who shared his excitement for their latest collaboration with The Rail and showcased their latest styles and collection of meaningfully designed headwear. His creative team personally designs shirts for The Rail and their latest line of bags were put into the spotlight during the event. Seasoned artists forming the alternative four-piece band, Bird., played an entire set keeping the vibe to a whole new level.
