Last July 6, UnionBank deployed its first dollar-dispensing ATM at its headquarters in Pasig City. Within days, a couple more ATMs with the same capabilities were found in their Greenhills and Cebu Wealth branches.
The Retail Banker’s “Asia Trailblazer Institution of the Year” is working on upgrading machines at strategic locations to better serve clients. The ATMs that dispense US dollars in $100 denominations will surely delight UnionBank customers with US dollar accounts, as there are no withdrawal fees!
In the coming months, expect the Global Brands Magazine’s back-to-back winner for “Best Bank for Customer Experience in Southeast Asia” to deploy more dollar-dispensing ATMs in branches of areas that are frequented by UnionBank US Dollar account holders with intensive US dollar transaction requirements.
