Japanese global apparel retailer UNIQLO opens its fourth roadside store, UNIQLO Marquinton Roadside, on April 28, 2023. UNIQLO’s roadside stores offer customers a one-stop shopping experience, making LifeWear more accessible to the people of Marikina. Located along Sumulong Highway, the store offers an 833 square meter space offering a wide variety of items for men, women, kids, and babies.
Marikina is the ideal place for UNIQLO to set up its newest roadside store, with the area known for its vibrant crafting industry and being a bike-friendly community. The Marquinton Roadside Store aims to be part of this local community, with its idyllic location in close proximity to residential communities and local businesses.
The store is Persons With Disability (PWD) friendly with entry ramps for easier access to customers, as well as having a PWD-friendly fitting room. The store highlights unique features fit for the area, such as a 1-meter elevation. Moreover, this store is made more accessible for the neighborhood with its 70 parking slots and an outdoor area decked with benches and bike racks, fit for the city’s bike-friendly atmosphere.
Staying true to its commitment to be part of the Marikina community, the store also features the Good Neighborhood guide, highlighting homegrown businesses and unique spots for both locals and customers to explore in the proximity of the store’s area.
