vivo X90 Pro+ ranks 10th in DxOMark, scores 140 points in global camera test

The best just got better as vivo’s latest flagship smartphone masterpiece, the vivo X90 Pro+, scored 140 in DxOMark camera test, a testing authority that measures phones’ performance in the photo, video, and zoom quality. With the device’s impressive photographic hardware system, the vivo X90 Pro+ was able to rank tenth in the DxOMark global image ranking.

According to DxOMark, the overall photography performance of the vivo X90 Pro+ is very good, which is a major evolution of the vivo X80 Pro. True to the reputation of the brand’s flagship X series, the newest X90 Pro+line is the first smartphone equipped with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor and the first to use a one-inch sensor in the main camera.

Cutting-edge advanced camera technology

DxOMark released that vivo X90 Pro+ scores 140 in photos, 70 in Bokeh, 71 in Preview, 150 in Zoom, and 129 in the video. DxOMark noted the following highlights of the vivo X90 Pro+:

    • Consistent camera experience across most features and usages
    • Very good photo performance, providing a high level of detail, good exposure, and an accurate white balance in all lighting conditions
    • High quality low light photo rendering, with image noise under control, making it ideal for night portraits and cityscapes
    • Very powerful zoom-in photo and video, providing a good level of details from ultra-wide to long-range telezoom

DxOMark also lauded the vivo X90 Pro+ Zoom feature, which provides very detailed photos under various zoom settings, achieving the second-highest score so far in zoom.

Equipped with a quad-lens camera, the vivo ​​ZEISS-branded cameras with ZEISS T* Coating and vivo’s very own V2 chip, the vivo X90 Pro+ will surely deliver users clear and crisp images. The vivo X90 Pro+ rear cameras consist of 50MP primary lens that uses a large 1-inch sensor with a fairly fast f/1.75 aperture lens and OIS, 48MP f/2.2 Sony IMX598 with 14mm equivalent ultra-wide-angle camera, a 50MP f/1.6 Sony IMX758 Portrait camera with 50mm focal length equivalent, and a 64MP OmniVision OV64B 3.5x telephoto camera. These four cameras of vivo X90 Pro+ are commended by DxOMark for providing photo and video outputs in clear detail even under extremely low-light conditions and keeping image noise well under control.
