5 Reasons why ‘Kuan On One’ is the new must-watch talk show on iWantTFC

Kuantie Melai Cantiveros continues to bring laughter and joy to viewers all over the world as she converses with fellow Bisaya celebrities in ABS-CBN’s first mainstream Bisaya talk show “Kuan on One,” airing every Tuesday on ABS-CBN Entertainment‘s YouTube channel, with new episodes streaming 24 hours in advance for free on iWantTFC.

Here are the reasons why ‘Kuan On One’ is the new must-watch talk show for Bisaya and non-Bisaya viewers alike:

1.    Melai’s classic wit and humor

Even during her ‘Pinoy Big Brother’ days, Melai was known for her charming wit and all-around sense of humor. In her decade-long showbiz career, she continues to capture audiences with her jokes and naturally funny facial reactions that made her the comedian and talk show host that she is today. In Kuan On One, her jokes are even funnier because she is in her comfort zone, speaking in her mother tongue and conversing with fellow Bisaya celebrities, which transcends even to the non-Bisaya audience.

2.    Free tutorial on Bisaya language

Since Kuan On One is a Bisaya-centered talk show, non-speakers of the language are treated with a free tutorial on Bisaya. Audiences will get to understand the language even better because of the relatable conversations between Melai and her celebrity guests. Echoing BINI Aiah, who was a guest on Episode 2, it’s also high time for viewers in the mainstream media to adjust to the subtitles.

3.    Relatable celebrity guests

So far, viewers got to know more about the life and career stories of Kim Chiu and BINI Aiah Arceta. Just like Melai, the way they spoke and acted felt more relaxed because they were speaking their own language. That’s probably why they seemed more like regular people, even more because they were going back to their Bisaya roots. The chemistry between Melai and the guests is undeniable that it felt like they are long-time friends who are just casually gossiping with each other. Watch out for other celebrity guests such as Maymay Entrata, BINI Colet, Sheryn Regis, Vivoree, Jason Dy, and Christian Bables.

4.    Priceless life lessons

Jokes and comedy aside, Melai elicits priceless life lessons from her guests by making them share their struggles and achievements. Many other topics are also covered in every episode – love, heartbreak, career, family, and their unique stories of how they navigated Metro Manila for the first time as a Bisaya.

5.    A healthy dose of wholesome conversations

Every episode of Kuan On One is a breath of fresh air because of Melai’s wholesome and candid conversations with her guests. It mainly highlights the positivity and brightness of Melai and her guests, which diverges from the usual narrative of mainstream talk shows. Viewers are left with a calm sense and a feeling of looking forward to the next episode.

Up for more joy and laughter? Catch Kuantie Melai and her celebrity guests on “Kuan On One,” with new episodes every Tuesday on ABS-CBN Entertainment’s YouTube channel. Also, get ahead of the laughter as viewers can see it first, 24 hours in advance, all for free on iwanttfc.com and the iWantTFC app (available on iOS and Android).
