Yu Jae Seok is one of the most beloved television hosts in Korea and has a long list of popular programs he’s been on. Cha Tae Hyun is known for his acting in movies like My Sassy Girl, but he’s also known for his variety shows like Unexpected Business. Oh Na Ra is an actress who has acted in series like SKY Castle and Alchemy of Souls. Yang Se Chan is a comedian known for being a cast member of Running Man. JENNIE is a K-pop star who has captivated fans through the stage and the screen. Lee Jung Ha is a rising actor who was impressed with his role in the drama series Moving. With cast members who are well-versed in entertaining, Apartment404 will not disappoint.
2. Famous PD
Producing director Jeong Cheol-min might be a familiar name if you’ve watched some of his hit variety shows. He knows how to make popular content and has brought people he’s worked with in the past to join Apartment404. Jeong Cheol-min worked with Yu Jae Seok on Running Man, Sixth Sense, and Village Survival, the Eight. Oh Na Ra also worked with him on Sixth Sense, Yang Se Chan on Running Man, and JENNIE on Village Survival, the Eight. While Jeong Cheol-min has not worked with Cha Tae Hyun and Lee Jung Ha previously, Cha Tae Hyun and Lee Jung Ha both acted in Moving together. We can trust that Jeong Cheol-min will be able to work his magic once again with Apartment404.
3. Amazing Events
All of the events and mysteries that the Apartment404 cast will be investigating are based on true events that took place in apartments in Korea. While the true events took place in different parts of Korea and at different time periods, the cast will be viewing them within one building for the show. The members will look for clues related to these extraordinary events and solve interesting mysteries. A lot of fun and entertainment will be packed into these episodes as audiences learn about real events that took place in Korea.
4. Retro Theme
With each episode having a unique setting and taking place in different time periods, the cast members will be revisiting those time periods. The blast from the past brings a nice, retro element to the show. There will be fun nostalgic vibes with each episode and a look into what Korea was like each of those years. From what’s going on in the news to common household items at that time, there will be a lot to enjoy. Furthermore, we can see the cast members decked out in great retro fashion.
5. Fun Competition
Cast members will be competing in teams and also against one another as they race to figure out the mysteries in each episode.
