Alabang West Parade, Megaworld Lifestyle Malls’ vibrant property in southern Metro Manila, is set to host Yary Young‘s three-day tattooing exhibition from March 15-17 in celebration of Women’s Month and its Femme Creations campaign.
Yary Young’s journey into tattooing began during her college days as a Multimedia Arts student, where she found the art form intriguing and delved into its depths with guidance from her father, who is knowledgeable in the field.
“I just practiced and served those who trusted me with love and care of the craft,” Yary Young shared after being spurred by an online article that featured her craft despite skepticism in the male-dominated Tattooing Industry.
“I love seeing the impact of the tattoos I do for my clients, whether it’s a symbol of their journey in life, a memorial tattoo, or just anything that makes them happy,” she added, finding inspiration in the priceless reactions of her clients. She is determined to share her skills and inspire others, whether through custom-made designs or her signature dainty minimal and sketchy style illustrations as a woman in the Tattooing industry.
Yary operates her appointment-only personal studio “Young, Wild & Inked,” where she has transitioned to a full-time Tattoo artist since 2019.
Alabang West Parade echoes the theme of Empowered Expressions for Women’s Month, exemplified by Yary Young’s story as part of their campaign effort, Herstory in Ink. This collaboration shines a spotlight on what women can achieve, as Megaworld Lifestyle Malls continues to make a positive impact on society, fostering a better community.
