BINI reaches a new feat as the Filipino pop group with the biggest audience on Spotify to date, garnering 1.4 million monthly listeners on the platform and becoming the first Filipino female group to do so.
The achievement comes after members Aiah, Colet, Maloi, Gwen, Stacey, Mikha, Jhoanna, and Sheena released their diary-inspired EP (extended play) “Talaarawan” last March 8.
Upon its release, the EP swiftly topped the iTunes Philippines albums chart while its tracks dominated the top 10 of iTunes Philippines songs chart with the key track “Salamin, Salamin” claiming the top spot.
On Spotify, “Salamin, Salamin” reached one million streams while the EP earned more than 14 million streams in less than two weeks. “Salamin, Salamin” also landed on the top 200 of Spotify Philippines Daily Songs Chart and is also featured on Radar Philippines and OPM Rising.
Meanwhile, their recent hit “Pantropiko” continues to attract listeners as it peaked at no. 23 on Spotify Philippines Daily Songs Chart and at no. 32 on Spotify’s Global Viral Chart with 9.8 million streams. The “nation’s girl group” also climbed to no.34 on Spotify Philippines Daily Top Artists becoming the highest charting pop group.
Feel the refreshing energy of BINI’s “Talaarawan” out now on various digital streaming platforms.
