Canon announced the appointment of Mr. Jian Liu as the Consumer Information and Imaging (CII) director of Canon Marketing (Philippines), Inc. Liu takes on this new role bringing with him nearly two decades of experience within the Canon Group, the majority of which was spent in China—one of the top three consumer markets worldwide.
Coming from a predominantly sales background and equipped with an in-depth understanding of the consumer goods market, Liu was directly responsible for his department that consistently met the top and bottom lines of Canon China. Under his leadership, Canon consumer products often outperformed the competition and secured its position as the number one brand in the country’s interchangeable lens camera market.
Now with Canon Marketing Philippines, Liu’s rich experience and commitment to building long-term strategic partnerships – that is aligned with Canon’s “Kyosei” philosophy – will be vital as the company looks to continuously strengthen its foothold in the market.
