Vice President for Commercial Division Mr. Christopher F. Esguerra formalized the deal for the
construction of the CAVITEX-CALAX LINK Segment 4 Extension Project.

“This collaboration will provide the vital link connecting CAVITEX and CALAX road network. CIC is committed to ensuring the best road quality for its infrastructure, adhering to the highest standards for the safety of motorists. This project will enhance economic activities in Cavite, Laguna, and the National Capital Region,” remarked Mr. Singson.

EEI Corp will construct the 1.2-kilometer, 2×2 lane CCLink (Segment 4 Extension), extending from the CAVITEX Kawit Toll Plaza to the upcoming CALAX Kawit Interchange. Construction of the link is targeted to commence next month and is set to be operational by mid-2025.

At present, operational segments of CAVITEX stretch 14 kilometers, from R1 Expressway (formerly Coastal Road) up to R1 Extension (Zapote to Kawit).

EEI Corp holds a quadruple-A rating as a General Engineering Contractor, the highest rating for contractors issued by the Philippine Contractors Accreditation Board (PCAB) under the Department of Trade and Industry. It offers a broad range of construction and engineering services, with expertise in infrastructure, buildings, and industrial and electromechanical facilities.

MPTC is the leading mobility infrastructure and solutions provider in the Philippines. As the toll road development arm of Metro Pacific Investments Corporation (MPIC), MPTC oversees a comprehensive portfolio, including CALAX, CAVITEX, North Luzon Expressway (NLEX), NLEX Connector Road, Subic-Clark-Tarlac Expressway (SCTEX), and the Cebu-Cordova Link Expressway (CCLEX) in Cebu, in addition to the toll road projects in Indonesia.
