Transportation Secretary Jaime Bautista lauds Cebu Pacific for its ongoing initiatives to expand its operations and network.

Cebu Pacific (PSE: CEB), the Philippines’ leading carrier, officially relaunched its Manila-Kaohsiung flights at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) Terminal 3 with a festive ceremony and giveaways for passengers.

Chris Bendijo; Transport Secretary Jaime Bautista; CEB Chief Corporate Affairs Officer Michael Ivan Shau; Civil Aeronautics Board Executive Director Atty. Carmelo Arcilla.

The ceremony, held prior to the flight’s departure on Friday, August 16, 2024, was graced by Transportation Secretary Jaime Bautista, Civil Aeronautics Board Executive Director Atty. Carmelo Arcilla, and representatives from the Manila International Airport Authority and the Taipei Economic and Cultural Office (TECO).

CEB Chief Corporate Affairs Officer Michael Ivan Shau says the Manila-Kaohsiung route marks an exciting chapter in the airline’s journey as it continues to expand its network and enhance connectivity across Asia.

CEB’s Manila-Kaohsiung flights will now operate thrice a week – every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday.

As an added treat, from August 16 to 25, travelers may book flights from Manila to Kaohsiung for as low as PHP 1,288 one-way base fare, exclusive of fees and surcharges. The travel period is from August 16, 2024 to January 31, 2025, allowing travelers to explore Kaohsiung right away with CEB’s exclusive seat sale.
