It’s All Clear: Hale brings back the nostalgia with their official comeback single, Klaro

The boys are back! The Philippines’ beloved alternative rock band Hale returns with their official comeback single, Klaro, which embodies the nostalgic arrangement and sound that Hale is known for.

Clocking in at 4:08 minutes, this track signifies the maturity of the band, as well as the growth of each member while maintaining their unique storytelling abilities. With the return of Champ Lui Pio on rhythm guitar and vocals, Roll Martinez on lead guitar and backing vocals, Sheldon Gellada on bass, Pao Santiago on drums and percussion, and Chino David on violin and keyboards, 2024 marks a new chapter for this iconic band under their home, UMG Philippines. The artists and their team commit to release more tracks that delve into themes of love, friendship, and the realities of life through their sound.

More than just a warm, catchy tune, Klaro’s powerful message of hope, resilience, and assurance that you are not truly alone in this life is something one can definitely relate to. Champ reveals that Klaro was an unexpected creation that happened while cleaning his guitar. Once he hit a riff, he immediately called Roll and asked him to help him finish the song, “I consider Roll one of the best composers and lyricists in the country and we haven’t written a song in more than a decade,” he shares. “I saw this as an opportunity for us to relive those younger days of us co-writing music together. It was very nostalgic, a core memory that will always be part of the song whenever I hear it.”

With lyrics like, “Tahan na / Huwag mag-alala / Na kahit anong mangyari/ Ako’y nandito,” Klaro is just a first taste of what’s to come from Hale.
