Join Happy Walk, an annual celebration with the Down Syndrome Association of the Philippines and SM Cares, on March 24 at SM Mall of Asia Complex, SM City Cebu and SM City Bacolod.

Since its inception in 2003, Happy Walk has been synonymous with spreading joy, raising awareness, and fostering inclusivity for individuals with Down Syndrome and their families. What started as a humble gathering has grown into an annual program in various parts of the country, thanks to the unwavering support of SM Cares and the Down Syndrome Association of the Philippines.

Over the years, Happy Walk has made its mark at various SM venues, starting from the parking lots of SM Megamall and SM Mall of Asia from 2007 to 2008, and moving to bigger event areas at Megatrade Hall and SM North EDSA Sky Dome from 2009 to 2010. Happy Walk eventually found its home at SMX Manila in the SM Mall of Asia Complex in 2016. Each step of the journey has been a testament to the power of community and the collective effort to create a more inclusive society.

As Happy Walk returns to SMX Manila at the SM Mall of Asia Complex, SM City Cebu, and SM City Bacolod, individuals can volunteer and join the festivities! Whether you’re walking alongside individuals with Down Syndrome, participating in fun activities, or simply spreading awareness, your presence will make a difference.

Why You Should Join:

  • Experience the joy of inclusion as we celebrate the unique abilities of every individual.
  • Make lasting memories and forge meaningful connections with the Down Syndrome community and fellow volunteers.
  • Be part of a movement that promotes acceptance, understanding, and compassion.

So, ready to make a difference? Come and join Happy Walk 2024 and make every step count towards a more inclusive society.

Celebrate with our Natatanging Nilalang, their families and friends on March 24 at:

  • SM Mall of Asia Complex – SMX Manila, Halls 1-2 (7:30am-12:00pm)
  • SM City Cebu – North Wing (7:30am-12:00pm)
  • SM City Bacolod – Event Center (8:00am-12:00pm)
Joining at SMX Manila? Register ahead via SM Malls Online. Download the app and set your location to SM Mall of Asia to search for the event voucher applicable for Family and for Friends (volunteers, teachers, therapists, doctors and community helpers)
