Singer-songwriter Ica Frias releases her latest single, “Don’t Worry,” under Off The Record and Sony Music Entertainment Philippines. The song serves as a message of self-love, comfort, and finding peace during challenging times.
“I wrote the song ‘Don’t Worry’ as a response to everyday life situations, particularly during challenging times in life,” Frias shares. “Aside from it being a love letter to myself and a comfort song, I hope this song will also resonate with my listeners.”
Frias draws inspiration from artist UMI’s song “Happy I’m,” evident in the uplifting and comforting sound of “Don’t Worry.” “When it comes to songwriting, I always write what I feel at the moment,” says Frias. “I usually just get my guitar and play random chords and then try to hum and sing what I feel.”
On ‘Don’t Worry,’ music video with executive producer Ricky Ilacad, Ica teams up with Kindred music. They, known for their work in the music industry, not only worked on the song’s production but also brought the heartwarming message to life by directing and producing the music video as well as making the key visual for the single.
