ABS-CBN’s kiddie gag show “Goin’ Bulilit” returns with fresh faces led by “FPJ’s Batang Quiapo” star Baby Giant and “It’s Showtime” kids Argus, Kulot, Imogen, Jaze, and Kelsey in its newest season premiering on July 1 (Monday) on Kapamilya Channel, Kapamilya Online Live, ALLTV, A2Z, and iWantTFC.
Baby Giant, who plays Oweng in “FPJ’s Batang Quiapo,” shared how blessed he is to be part of this iconic Kapamilya show with the new generation of child stars. He also expressed his gratitude to Coco Martin, who allowed him to be part of the show.
“Sabi niya (Coco) na para sa akin ito. Super supportive po siya sa akin. Super thankful po ako mapasama sa ‘Goin Bulilit.’ Para po sa akin, ito po ay isang big opportunity,” he said.
Joining him in the newest season of “Goin Bulilit,” are “It’s Showtime” kids Argus, Jaze, Imogen, Kulot, Kelsey, Enicka, and Briseis, together with other budding young artists Ahmad, Calvin, Christan, Clave, EJ, JC, Jeremiah, John, Jordan, Lucas, Ludwig, Miguel, Rhys, Scott, Stanley, Stephen, Tyrone, Wardell, Alessandra, Alondra, Alynna, Amarah, Ayesha, Chastity, Dani, Elisha, Elle, Erin, Fae, Graciela, Kylie, Kendall, Mais, Mary, Miho, Nashrifa, Scarlet, Sebreenika, Selena, Sheerina, Stephanie, Valerie, and Zoe.
Meanwhile, “Goin’ Bulilit” director and creator Bobot Mortiz expressed his excitement about the much-anticipated comeback of the show.
“Nakakatuwa naman at maraming excited na mga bata kasi ang ang tagal din nawala ng ‘Goin’ Bulilit.’ Siguro hindi natuloy noon, kasi heto na talaga ‘yung tamang oras,” he said in an interview with “TV Patrol.”
The new season of “Goin’ Bulilit” will also mainly feature classic segments such as “Ano Daw?,” “Noon at Ngayon,” “Good News, Bad News,” and “GB Patrol.” Viewers should also watch out for spoofs of the Kapamilya series “Batang Quiapo,” titled “Baby Quiapo” and talk show “Magandang Buhay” as “Magandarang Buhay.”
Former cast members Nash Aguas and Mika Dela Cruz are set to appear in the pilot week of “Goin’ Bulilit,” who both felt nostalgic and excited for the show’s return.
