No To Single-Use Plastic
In a determined move to combat plastic pollution, Joy~Nostalg Hotel & Suites Manila is declaring a resolute stance against single-use plastics. Items, including plastic straws, utensils, and packaging, are eliminated from the hotel’s operations. A 2-step water filter has been installed in each room to offer guests access to clean and safe drinking water, eliminating the need for bottled water. Furthermore, the hotel has transitioned to using bamboo for keycards and pens and starch for food and beverage packaging. This initiative reflects the hotel’s unwavering dedication to minimizing plastic waste and protecting marine ecosystems.
Sensor Flow Air Conditioning
Embracing technology, the hotel is implementing sensor flow air conditioning systems throughout its guest rooms. These innovative systems utilize advanced sensors to regulate temperature settings based on occupancy levels and environmental conditions, optimizing energy efficiency without compromising guest comfort. By reducing energy consumption, the hotel is actively mitigating its carbon emissions and contributing to a more sustainable future.
Clean for Green Program
In support of going green, the hotel is encouraging guests to minimize cleaning and changing of bed linens and towels, which aims to conserve water and reduce carbon emissions. Guests are extended a 10% discount on food and beverages at The Nostalgia Lounge & Bar as well as a 20% discount on spa and laundry services as part of the program’s incentive.
Yes to Digital
Saying yes to digital solutions to reduce paper consumption and enhance efficiency. The hotel now leverages online platforms with digital business cards and QR codes, providing guests easy access to comprehensive information, menus, and real-time updates on promotions and offerings. Hotel invoices for stays are also sent to guest email upon check-out.
