LG Electronics, a global leader in home appliances and electronics, recently provided much-needed relief to the communities of Barangay Planters and Barangay Anak Pawis 2 in Westbank Drive, Cainta, Rizal, from August 1 to 3, and Barangay Malanday in Marikina City, from August 9 to 11. The initiative offered residents severely affected by Typhoon Carina a three-day free laundry service and appliance check-up.
As part of LG’s ongoing commitment to CSR and community service, LG established a mobile laundry station in the center of the barangays, providing essential aid to families still recovering from the typhoon’s destructive impacts. LG set up 11 washer and dryer units, operating from 8 AM to 5 PM, to offer free laundry services, ensuring that the community had access to clean clothing when they needed it most.
