February 1 marks another historic milestone in Philippine broadcasting as TV5 launches RPTV, the newest free-to-air channel offering sports, news and entertainment designed to entertain all members of the Filipino family.
RPTV becomes the new Free-to-air Home of the PBA as it airs all PBA games LIVE, including 3×3, D-League and more. Viewers can also look forward to watching other key sports offerings such as the PVL and games of Gilas Pilipinas.
RPTV also engages audiences with an entertainment lineup that includes the top-rating daily noontime show EAT…Bulaga. On the weekends, RPTV viewers can look forward to various local comedy and action series and movies throughout the day, capping the weekend with Live Sports from 4PM-10PM.
Aside from Sports and Entertainment, RPTV viewers can look forward to starting their day with the popular News and Public Service show of Ted Failon and DJ Chacha. In the afternoon, the program Wanted Sa Radyo takes action on cases of exploitation and abuse with the help of Sen. Raffy Tulfo.
