It’s a back-to-back win as Marriott Manila’s culinary team wins the Overall Champion in The 2024 Philippine Culinary Cup—the 5th time since garnering the same award in 2015, 2016, 2018, and 2023—a strong testament to the culture and pursuit of excellence at Marriott. “We are grateful for being able participate in this prestigious annual culinary competition. 2024 is a significant year as we are celebrating the 15th anniversary of Marriott Manila, the 5th anniversary of our worldwide travel program Marriott Bonvoy, and just recently, the successful edition of the 10th annual signature event, Marry Me at Marriott. Now, adding to the back-to-back celebrations is the 5th championship title in the 2024 Philippine Culinary Cup”. Winton commends the culinary team for their culinary creativity and dedication as they continuously build Marriott’s brand reputation in the culinary scene not only in the Manila but all around the Philippines.

The award-winning culinary team garnered a total of 17 medals: three Highest Gold in the Dream Team Challenge, Dress The Cake, and U.S. Beef Categories, one Gold in the U.S. Lamb Category, two Silver in the Bread Showpiece and Chocolate Showpiece Categories, and 11 Bronze in Wedding Cake, Plant-based Diet Meal, Plant-based Dessert, Creative Breakfast, Sous Vide, U.S. Pork, Sugar Showpiece, Filipino Cuisine, and Pasta Categories. “This recognition strengthens our commitment to creating a wonderful and personalized dining experience for our guests all the while giving our chefs the necessary support and opportunity to further their skills. These winning moments serve an inspiration at the same time a challenge to us to further innovate and elevate our culinary offerings,” Executive Chef Meik Brammer added.

The delegation for Marriott Manila scored back-to-back championships after taking home the prestigious cup last year, with a total haul of 17 medals—another milestone that Marriott is grateful for as they celebrate their 15 wonderful years.

Marriott upholds its commitment to provide wonderful hospitality, acknowledging the pivotal role that culinary art plays in achieving a holistic experience hence creating memories and paving the way to more winning moments.
