MPL Philippines, the country’s most prestigious MLBB esports tournament heads to a bigger venue in the South for its 13th iteration. The playoffs season will be held in SM Southmall, Las Piñas City, and will welcome over 10,000 offline spectators from May 22-26, 2024. Six teams have successfully earned their playoff spots namely AP Bren, ECHO, Blacklist International, RSG Philippines, Minana EVOS, and ONIC Philippines.
The teams will vie to take the coveted title and the biggest share of the prize pool worth USD 150,000 or around PHP 8.5 million. The top two teams will represent the Philippines in the upcoming Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Mid Season Cup (MSC) 2024 featured at the Esports World Cup in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, with a whopping prize pool of USD 3 million or around PHP 171 million.

For the first time, MPL Philippines will launch the Bahasa Indonesia Stream on MPL Indonesia YouTube, Facebook, and TikTok to cater to its Indonesian fans who wish to watch the tournament online. Moreover, the league will launch the Matanglawin Spot Challenge to challenge viewers to spot the MSC trophy that will randomly appear on screen any time of the day, take a picture of themselves pointing to the said trophy, and post it on their Facebook with the hashtags #MPLPHS13 #MSC2024 #LakasNgPinas.
MPL-PH Season 13 also introduces the MPL-PH Alamat Awards to give tribute to the legendary icons who have contributed to the growth of MLBB esports in the Philippines. This includes players, managers, and the members of the press. Another iconic MLBB esports PH figure will be inducted into the Hall of Legends.
What’s more, offline spectators can enjoy various on-ground activities at the MPL Community Hub, located in SM Southmall Game Park letting fans try different activations, interact with artists and cosplayers, and enjoy the watch party area. MPL-PH teams will have merch booths so fans can take home the latest jerseys, jackets, stickers, and other items.
Lastly, MPL-PH teams will have a Meet and Greet session after each match series, giving fans a chance to take photo opportunities with their idols!
