The country’s hottest acts BINI, Juan Karlos, Lola Amour, Maki, and SB19 are vying to be named Artist of the Year in the highly anticipated comeback of MYX Music Awards, which kicked off with the announcement of nominees on MYX YouTube channel.
The well-loved music awards is back after three years to once again honor OPM artists that made their mark in the industry, anthems that defined the year, and music videos that captured audiences.
The coveted Song of the Year recognition will be a race between Maki’s “Dilaw,” Juan Karlos’ “ERE,” BINI’s “Pantropiko,” “Lola Amour’s “Raining in Manila,” and “Dionela feat. Jay R’s “Sining.”
Meanwhile, the nominees for top award Music Video of the Year are “B.A.D.” by Denise Julia feat. P-Lo, “Cherry on Top” by BINI, “Dilaw” by Maki, “Moonlight” by SB19, Ian Asher and Terry Zhong, and “Surreal” by Justin.
Various OPM acts are also competing in the categories Mellow Video, Pop Video, Hip-hop Video, R&B Video, and Rock Video of the Year. Fans can also look forward to voting for their favorites for Collaboration, Breakout Solo Artist, Breakout Group, and Global Video of the Year.
The voting period for MYX Music Awards 2024 is from October 5, 12:01 am until November 10, 11:59 pm. Fans may register at myx.global and click on MYX Music Awards. Fan votes will account for 60% of the final tally while 40% would be based on the result of artists poll.
MYX will be announcing the winners at the grand MYX Music Awards awarding event happening in November.
