Nameless Kids lands on the cover of Spotify’s Pinoy Indie Mix with the group’s new single “Gabi,” an anthem for unreciprocated feelings.

The indie-pop song marks a new era for the band composed of Nhiko Sabiniano, Kim Allen, and Tati de Mesa. Nhiko and Kim penned “Gabi,” which serves as a love confession with the hopes of spending a memorable night with their loved one.

The music video, which stars Nhiko, Kim, Tati, and Patricia Reyes, highlights the delusion of a perfect relationship amidst the reality of love. It was directed by John Manalo while Karen Dela Fuente took charge in the overall creative direction.

Within a couple of weeks, “Gabi” has become the fastest-growing track of the band in terms of streams. It has peaked at no. 21 on Spotify Philippines Viral chart and was also featured on editorial playlists such as OPM Rising and Viral Hits Philippines.

Early this year, the band released the single “Still So In Love” which became a soundtrack for the primetime series “High Street” and peaked at no. 4 on Tiktok’s trending hashtags. In 2023, they dropped their first Tagalog track “Sayo (Ang Mundo)” which has over a million streams on Spotify and also unveiled their debut album “Manila In Bloom,” which spawned the singles “Hotel Runs” and “Lonely.”

They were also awarded as Best Performance for a New Group Recording Artist at the 34th Awit Awards for their debut single “Outlaws” and also headlined the MYX Music Awards along with international artist LANY and ON Festival with Korean artists Suho and Seori.

Catch the first preview of Nameless Kids’ “Gabi” music video in their “Atin Ang Gabing Ito” launch party at the Astbury, Makati this Thursday, 7pm (Aug. 22) with special guests Maki, Gabba, bird., and muninn. Ticket prices range from P350 to P500.
