Personal Collection’s sustainability, homecare campaigns bag Anvil and Quill awards

Personal Collection (PC), known for its advocacy for the environment and providing sustainable livelihood opportunities to thousands of Filipinos across the country, bagged three awards at the recent 59th Anvil Awards and the 20th Philippine Quill Awards.

The Green Life Great Life movement, PC’s extensive program for sustainability and environmental conservation took center stage. The International Association of Business Communicators (IABC) bestowed an Award of Excellence in Communication Management for Personal Collection’s Corporate Social Responsibility Program at the 20th Quill Awards. It also received a Silver Anvil Award for Public Relations Programs in Sustainability Communication at the Public Relations Society of the Philippines’ (PRSP) 59th Anvil Awards.

Personal Collection is the first Filipino-owned company to transition from recyclable packaging to biodegradable packaging for its consumer goods. To date, 87% of their total product portfolio is in biodegradable packaging. PC is committed to creating ripples of change for its dealers and consumers. The program also encourages its wide network of employees, dealers, and customers to actively participate in CSR activities like mangrove and tree planting and estuary and coastal cleanups. So far, PC’s coastal cleanups have collected tons and tons of garbage along coasts and estuaries, which has offset 6,362 tons of CO2 from the atmosphere. They have also planted a total of 245,000 plants across 24 localities in the Philippines. Since its launch in 2021, the goals of the #GreenLifeGreatLife movement have dovetailed with the United Nation’s SDG or Sustainable Development Goals.

Meanwhile, PC’s creativity and innovative approach to brand marketing was also recognized at the Quill Awards. The Tuff-est Tongue Battle Video Campaign, a fun, street rap battle video, featuring the countless uses of its Tuff Toilet Bowl Cleanser product received an Award for Communication Management in Marketing, Advertising, and Brand Communication.

Personal Collection’s high-quality products provide dealers the launchpad to start their own businesses. For thousands of dealers, PC has given them the path to financial freedom and stability, enabling them to take care of their families and send their children to school, or to simply enjoy life more with their extra income.
