UpSave and GSave account holders as of May 31, 2024 are eligible to earn up to 15% p.a. interest on their savings for the month of July, while accounts opened by June 30, 2024 are eligible for the month of August. Accounts deemed valid can automatically earn 3.5% p.a. interest just by maintaining their balance, which can further earn additional interest through fulfilling the following criteria:
- Earn +2% p.a. by growing your total average daily balance (ADB) by at least PHP 5,000 compared to the previous month’s ADB
- Earn +2.5% p.a. by growing your ADB by at least PHP 50,000 compared to the previous month’s ADB.
- Earn +3% p.a. by spending a total amount of at least PHP 5,000 using your Virtual Debit Card
- Earn +4% p.a. by spending a total amount of at least PHP 50,000 using your Virtual Debit Card

For those who don’t have CIMB UpSave or GSave accounts yet, it is fast and easy to open your own account. UpSave accounts can be opened via the CIMB mobile app, which is available on the App Store or Google Play Store. GSave accounts can be opened via the GCash app as well.
