As Skechers Basketball enters its second season and introduces a wider range of innovative footwear styles worn by pros, Skechers brought NBA basketball athletes to the Philippines. Julius Randle of the New York Knicks and Terance Mann of the LA Clippers came to Manila for a 3-day visit from August 2 to 4, 2024 to engage with basketball fans and support the launch as part of their Asia Tour.

The Manila visit kicked off with a media conference at Shangri-La The Fort Manila on August 2, 2024. After the conference, the NBA stars toured the city for two days with events and activities where local fans had up-close experiences with them.

Skechers Chief Operating Officer David Weinberg and Country Manager Suzette Pasustento attended the celebratory conference, sharing their excitement at having Mann and Randle join Skechers as their basketball ambassadors.

During the media conference, the Company unveiled their newest line of Skechers Basketball shoes for Fall Winter 2024, delivering on the promise of Comfort that Performs.

The new SKX NEXUS™ (worn by Mann) is a low-top court shoe designed for speed, stability, and support.
