The Farm at San Benito, Asia’s premier holistic wellness destination, is delighted to announce that Iris Law, a distinguished wellness expert from Hong Kong, will be doing a weeklong residency at the multi-awarded healing sanctuary as a Visiting Practitioner.

Each month, The Farm invites local and foreign Visiting Practitioners to come and share with us their energy and varied expertise, enhancing the diverse wellness experiences we offer.

“We are thrilled to welcome Iris Law as our Visiting Practitioner,” said Jennifer Sanvictores, Global Head of Sales and Marketing of The Farm at San Benito. “Her reputation as a leading wellness expert and her holistic philosophy align perfectly with our mission to provide transformative health experiences. We are confident that our guests will greatly benefit from her presence and the unique sessions she offers,” added Sanvictores.

With a celebrated background in integrative health Iris is a Health & Wellness Coach, GYROTONIC® Trainer, Forest Bathing Guide, and Mind-Body Practitioner. Having spent two decades as a senior executive in Investment Banking in Hong Kong where the work environment and urban city living are highly stressful, her healing journey led her to discover GYROTONIC®, forest bathing and mindfulness-based ecotherapy.

Law believes in the healing power of nature to restore balance in the mind and body. She specializes in nature-based therapies to promote mental health, self-healing and personal growth, and offers guided forest bathing sessions and mindfulness-based ecotherapy through connection with the natural environment.

She has received training in various Gyrotonic equipment under a number of Master Trainers from New York, London, Sydney, Tokyo, Kyoto and Hong Kong.

During her residency at The Farm, Iris Law will be offering a series of complimentary sessions with checked-in guests namely GYROKINESIS® Breathwork on August 14 & 15 at 7:30 – 8:30 AM and “Forest Bathing” on August 16 & 17 at 9:00 – 10:30 AM. Guests may also book her for solo private sessions or for small groups.

GYROKINESIS® Breathwork

GYROKINESIS® Cardiovascular Breathing offers a path to respiratory health through a uniquely designed breathing technique developed by Juliu Horvath – “Movement creates breath, breath creates movement”. Rather than practiced in stillness, this special breathwork is synchronized with gentle movements, allowing the respiratory, circulatory and parasympathetic nervous systems of the human body to be stimulated, leading to an increase in the flow of blood, nutrients, oxygen, as well as hormones to and from cells. At the end of the session, there will be a sense of calm and mental clarity.

Forest Bathing

Forest Bathing (aka Forest Therapy) originated in Japan in 1980s. “Shinrin-Yoku 森林浴,” literally means Forest Bathing in Japanese, is a research evidence-based healing practice through immersion in nature. Forest Bathing is not taking a bath in the forest, not a hike or a walk in the forest, not meditation, and not simply a relaxation. It is also not a treatment for illness, but it is considered as a form of ecotherapy that can bring positive health benefits to improve our wellbeing.

The Farm’s guests will have the unique opportunity to benefit from Iris Law’s extensive expertise and holistic approach to wellness in the serene and healing environment of The Farm.
